AEDG peptide
Epithalon activates telomerase, the enzyme that lengthens telomeres — the protective caps on your chromosomes that shorten as you age. For years the knock was that all the data came from one lab in Russia. That changed in 2025 when Brunel University independently confirmed telomere lengthening in human cells. Still no human injection trial, so the protocol everyone uses is extrapolated from cell studies and the original Russian work. You run it in short intensive bursts (10-20 days), not daily.
Protocol
Dose: 5mg per day, split AM/PM (2.5mg each) | Frequency: Twice daily during intensive cycles | Cycle: 10-20 day intensive cycles, 2-3 times per year. This is not a daily-driver peptide. | Route: SubQ

Effects
- Telomerase activation (65%) — The 2025 Brunel study showed dose-dependent telomere extension in human cell lines. In vitro, not in vivo.
- Sleep quality (50%) — Pineal gland connection means many users report improved melatonin production and sleep architecture
- General anti-aging (40%) — Skin quality, energy, and recovery improvements reported anecdotally. Hard to separate from placebo at this evidence level.
- Immune function (35%) — Original Russian data suggested improved immune markers in elderly subjects, but replication is thin
Side Effects
- Injection-site irritation (10%) — Little red mark where you pinned. Standard stuff, gone by morning.
- Drowsiness (8%) — The evening dose can make you sleepy. Honestly that's a feature — you're pinning before bed anyway.
- Headache (5%) — Mild headache the first day or two. Usually gone by day three.
Evidence
Early research — A 2025 Biogerontology study from Brunel University London independently confirmed telomere lengthening in human cell lines via hTERT and telomerase upregulation — the first independent validation outside Khavinson's original lab. No blinded human RCT exists for injected epithalon. On RFK's potential Category 1 reclassification list, which would expand access through compounding pharmacies.
Approval status: Not approved. Potential Category 1 reclassification pending.

- Lyophilized: Store frozen at -20C for long-term. Refrigerate 2-8C for short-term. Very stable as dry powder.
