Every supplier on this list operates without a visible physical address. None of them publish a return policy. Most require you to message them on WhatsApp, confirm availability, confirm pricing, then transfer money before they dispatch.

That does not mean they are all bad. Several have been operating for years and have repeat customers. But the buying experience is closer to a grey-market transaction than a pharmacy purchase. There is no receipt, no consumer protection hotline, and no way to verify the product until it arrives.

Can you buy BAC water at a pharmacy in Bangkok?

We checked Boots (Sukhumvit Soi 11), Watsons (Terminal 21), and Fascino (Siam Paragon). None of them stock bacteriostatic water. The staff at two locations had not heard of the product.

Some compounding pharmacies in Bangkok may carry it. But you need to ask specifically for bacteriostatic water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. If you ask in English, expect a conversation. If you ask in Thai, the term is น้ำสำหรับฉีดที่มีสารกันเสีย (nam samrap chit thi mi san kan sia). Most pharmacists will not recognize this and may offer sterile water or normal saline instead.

Sterile water and normal saline are not substitutes. They are different products with different properties. If a pharmacist hands you sterile water when you asked for BAC water, do not use it for reconstitution unless you plan to use the entire vial in one session. See the comparison below or the full breakdown on the main BAC water guide.

How do you know if your BAC water is real?

"Buy Hospira bac water. It is the only consistently good one. Do NOT use the bac water the Chinese suppliers sell you."

That captures the core problem. BAC water looks like water. Clear liquid, sealed vial. You cannot tell by looking at it whether the benzyl alcohol is in there or not.

Without the preservative, every needle puncture introduces bacteria into the vial. They multiply. By the third or fourth draw you are injecting contaminated solution. You will not see it. You will not smell it. The vial looks the same on day 14 as it did on day 1.

The bacterial count does not.

The vial looks fine. The liquid is clear. And you have no way to test it at home.

5-point verification checklist for Thai suppliers

01Check the label

Look for "bacteriostatic water for injection" and "0.9% benzyl alcohol" on the label. If either is missing, you are holding a mystery vial. Ask the supplier. If they get vague, you have your answer.

02Check the batch number and expiry

If there is no batch number, there is no traceability. You cannot verify what you have. Both should be printed on the vial label.

03Ask for batch details before you pay

Bac Water Thailand states they provide batch and expiry information on request. If a supplier will not share this, find a different one.

04Check the seal

Factory-sealed, crimped aluminum cap. If the cap looks resealed, bent, or like someone crimped it with pliers in a kitchen, that vial has been opened before you. Do not use it.

05Store correctly

Room temp, out of sunlight, until you open it. After the first puncture: fridge, 28 days, then it is trash. Full storage breakdown on the main BAC water guide.

Sterile water is cheaper and easier to find. That is why some people use it. But if you draw from a vial reconstituted with sterile water on Monday, and again on Wednesday, and again on Friday, you are introducing bacteria three times with no preservative to suppress them.

If a supplier or pharmacist offers you sterile water when you asked for BAC water, they are not giving you the same product. Do not accept the substitution unless you understand the difference and are using single-dose technique.

How much BAC water do you need per month?

Protocol Vials reconstituted/month BAC water needed Monthly cost (Bangkok)
Single compound, weekly (e.g. semaglutide)11-2ml → 1 vial lasts months฿200-300
Single compound, daily (e.g. BPC-157)2-34-6ml → 1 vial per month฿200-300
Two compounds, mixed frequency3-46-8ml → 1 vial per month฿200-300
Three+ compounds4+8-12ml → 1-2 vials per month฿400-600

A single 10ml vial lasts most people a month. The cost is not the issue. The issue is that you need a fresh supply every month, from a WhatsApp vendor, indefinitely.

What happens when your BAC water source disappears

These are small operations. One person, a WhatsApp number, a delivery rider. They are not pharmacies with leases and staff and regulatory obligations. They exist because demand exists and they can move product through a messaging app.

They also go offline. They run out of stock. They stop replying for a week. They change WhatsApp numbers. They close without notice.

You are mid-cycle. Your reconstituted vial expires in five days. You need to reconstitute the next one. Your BAC water supplier has not replied since Tuesday.

Now you are searching Google again. Now you are messaging a supplier you have never used. Now you are trusting a sealed vial from someone you found twenty minutes ago because your protocol cannot wait.

This is not a hypothetical. This is the supply chain that everyone running a protocol in Bangkok depends on. It works until it does not.

The compound is the decision you made once. The supplies are the decisions you make every month, from vendors you cannot verify, with no fallback when they disappear.

Frequently asked questions

WhatsApp vendors with same-day delivery. Bac Water Bangkok and Bac Water Thailand are the most established. 200-300 THB per 10ml vial. No chain pharmacy stocks it. You will not find it at Boots.

A single 10ml vial costs 200 to 300 THB. Bac Water Thailand sells a 3-pack for 600 THB (200 per vial). For comparison, a 30ml vial in the US costs $5-8. Thai pricing is higher per ml but includes same-day delivery.

We checked. Boots, Watsons, Fascino: no. Some compounding pharmacies might have it, but you will need to ask for it by name and most pharmacists will not know what you mean.

Bac water has benzyl alcohol preservative. Sterile water does not. That means sterile water is one puncture, then discard. Sterile water is cheaper in Bangkok (฿50-100) and easier to find, which is exactly why pharmacists hand it to you when you ask for bac water. It is not the same product.
